Stewards of Children
This award-winning prevention training program, created by Darkness to Light, teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and respond responsibly to child sexual abuse. SOC is designed for organizations that serve youth as well as for adults who are concerned about the safety of children. It is the only nationally distributed, evidence-based program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child-protective behaviors. SOC also provides 2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for certified counselors and social workers.
Training Information
Time: 2 hour minimum – up to 3 hours if needed
Location: Requested Organization/School Site
Cost: $40 fee per hour (due before or on the day of training)
Language: English or Spanish
