What We Do
Mission Statement
Our Mission is to coordinate community efforts to prevent and respond to child abuse and neglect.
FCCAP accomplishes our mission by:
- Advocating for more support for primary prevention programs.
- Providing a forum for interagency coordination in the prevention, detection, treatment, and legal processing of child abuse cases.
- Recommending improvements in services to families and victims.
FCCAP Services
- Coordinates quarterly Round Tables regarding current “hot topics” in child maltreatment.
- Collaborates with primary prevention partners annually for an April Convening structured around education.
- Trains Mandated Reporters and Regular Volunteers.
- Educates professionals, regular volunteers, parents, teens, youth, and children on current child maltreatment trends and prevention topics.
