Impact of Violence on Children
Description - Training For Adults :
This training features the First
Impressions video by Dr. Bruce Perry and
explains the tragic reality of how children growing
in violence environments end up with mental
health problems at a rate higher than children who
are actually the direct victims of physical abuse.
Every adult needs to learn how exposure to
violence in the home, school, community and
virtually is harmful long term. Training is
approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
AB 1207 (Specifically for child care providers or workers)
This training is given to ensure child
care workers are educated on how the law defines
child abuse and neglect, requirements of a mandated
reporter, protections the law provides for mandated
reporters, how to talk to children about suspected
abuse, how to report suspected child abuse, and
what to expect after a report is filed. Lastly, special
issues related to child abuse reporting for child care
providers. This training meets the AB 1207 Law
(effective January 2018) requirements for Child Care
Worker and is approximately 1 hour to 90 min

except Stewards of Children – $75 per session
plus $10 per person. All trainings invoiced in
advance for payment – due before or on the day
of training.
