Adverse Childhood Experiences

Every professional, parent, and adult should understand what Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are and how toxic stress in childhood can alter brain development, shaping lifelong health and behavior. This training provides an overview of more than 20 years of research on ACEs and their profound impact on individuals and society. The training includes the ACEs score calculator and may also feature Resilience, the documentary by former California Surgeon General Dr. Nadine Burke Harris.
